Prisoner Extension

PRISONER EXTENSION
The prisoner extension is a spine extension strengthening exercise. Start by lying down on your stomach with your hands behind your head. Raise your elbows off the floor and squeeze your shoulder blades together as you extend your spine by lifting chest off of the floor. Hold the top position for up to 5 seconds or as tolerated and return to the floor to complete a repetition.
