Deficit Push Up

DEFICIT PUSH UP
The deficit push up is a chest and core strengthening exercise that uses the body weight as resistance. Start by putting your hands on a yoga block flat on the floor, with your hands placed wider than shoulder distance apart. Support the lower half of your body with balls of your feet. Hold a neutral spine and slowly lower the body. Generally your hands should be at your lower chest line at the bottom of the movement. Push up while keeping the core braced.
